Sculptures worth £6,000 have been stolen by art thieves.
Two bronze female figures by artist Anna Corcoran were taken from the Hicks Gallery in Wimbledon last night or this morning.
Gallery owner Jeff Hicks said neighbours had reported hearing a disturbance at about 5.30am this morning - and he thought this was when the art was snatched.
The thief or thieves are believed to have smashed through a thick glass plate in the door of the Leopold Road gallery, before taking the sculptures. One is about 20cm high and the other about 30cm high - both are worth roughly £3,000.
Mr Hicks said the shop, which has been open for 21 years, was last targeted by thieves seven or eight years ago.
Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
