New figures have revealed Sutton to be one of the nation motorbike theft hotspots.
Leading motorbike insurer Carole Nash, who have over 300,000 bikes on their books, rank Sutton as the worst part of London for bike theft.
According to their figures, Sutton is the highest UK borough in the ranking, in ninth place, with Twickenham, in Richmond, just behind in tenth place.
Last year Sutton was ranked in 52nd place so bike crime has risen rapidly according to Carole Nash - shockingly, crime-ridden Croydon comes in at a lowly nineteenth place.
The capital's regions dominate the table with South-west London rated as the worst part of the whole country closely followed by North London.
Only one area outside the capital featured in the UK’s top ten hotspots - Huddersfield.
