A disabled boy has ventured on to his garden decking for the first time after it was revamped by a group of volunteers.
Members of Bottom Line Technologies spent two days overhauling the garden in Charles Mill Court to make it more accessible for wheelchair user David Oyewale, six, who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The team also put up fencing and laid a new path and lawn.
Lee Trunks, project manager for charity Well Child’s Helping Hands scheme, said: “It was a hard couple of days, there were just so many weeds.
“It was an overgrown mess at the start, but it was a lovely garden by the end.
“It looked fantastic.”
