The motorcylist killed after being crushed beneath the wheels of a Tesco petrol lorry has been identified as Andrew Fitzgerald.
Mr Fitzgerald, who was 39, from Tillingbourne Road, Shalford, died outside Chessington World of Adventures after falling from his Triumph Sprint motorbike at about 11.15am on Monday, July 18.
A witness who had not yet spoken to police told the Surrey Comet he fell from his bike after hitting a traffic island as he was heading along the busy A243 toward Chessington.
His inquest was opened and adjourned at West London Coroners Court yesterday. Initial findings suggested multiple injuries as the cause of death.
Police have asked any witnesses to call the road death investigation unit on 020 8941 9011.
