A free play day for children takes place on Wednesday, August 3.
The event, at the Play Boats in Hurst Park, East Molesey, will include arts and crafts sessions, dancing, water games, storytelling and a picnic, among other activities.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult on the day, which runs from 11am to 4pm.
Councillor Jan Fuller, portfolio holder at Elmbridge Council for leisure and culture, said: “Play Day a fantastic day packed full of fun for the whole family. It is a great way for everyone to share new play experiences and have an exciting time while celebrating the children’s right to play. Free events of this scale bring whole communities together and are not to be missed. Come along and join in the fun.”
