Youngsters at Muschamp Primary School in Carshalton received 'passing out' certificates after attending their very own Policy Academy at the school.
The students at the school in Muschamp Road have been brushing up on their policing skills at an afternoon club, which has been running once a week throughout the summer term.
Run by Sutton's Police Cadets the club had involved taking part in police related activities, such as learning the phonetic alphabet, fingerprinting and meeting horses from the Met’s Mounted Branch.
Detective Chief Supt Guy Ferguson, Sutton Borough Commander, who presented the certificates to the students, said: "The police academy is a great way of showing children that police officers are approachable and are there to help.
“It’s our job to help local communities and this gives young people an insight into what sort of activities we do to make people safer."
Ann Causton, assistant head teacher of Muschamp Primary School, added: “This has been a fabulous experience. The children have grown in confidence and self esteem. They have come to understand that police officers are there to help them. We as a school are extremely grateful for the time the cadets and officers have put in.”
