Police close street to hunt for alleged man with firearm
Police closed off a Lambeth road last night after reports of a man armed with a firearm.
Stockwell Road was closed for about two hours after police received calls of a man possibly armed at a house in the street at about 9.50pm.
Police attended the scene but no firearm was found at the scene and the street was quickly reopened.
