Thousands flocked to Clapham Common to enjoy this year’s Ben and Jerry’s festival.

The first of a weekend double-header, Saturday saw 90s indie legends Ocean Colour Scene headline.

This year’s festival was the biggest ever hosted by the ice-cream makers, with 15,000 coming through the turnstile to enjoy free ice-cream and music.

Other big name acts on the bill included Ash and Fun Lovin Criminals as the 90s revival emerged in full force.

With the rain holding off, the crowds tucked into their ice cream and enjoyed other attractions such as toe-wrestling and a coconut shy bizarrely without coconuts this year.

The festival continued today with Maximo Park due to headline.

The first Summer Sundae took place in 2005 and has promoted environmental messages as well as local conservation.
