Residents have less than two weeks to tell Epsom and Ewell council how they want their money spent.
The borough council’s “your money, your voice” budget consultation closes on Friday, August 5.
The consultation, launched on June 21, lets residents see how much the council spends on services and suggest ways to make savings of at least £1.5 million of the council's budget over the next three years.
Anyone with a computer or access to the internet can take part in the scheme by completing online tool YouChoose, which shows the council’s spending and how much it can save.
By adjusting spending residents will see the direct effect of this on services before they submit their choices.
Residents without access to the internet can use suggestion cards and suggestion ‘posting boxes public venues such as The Town Hall, The Ebbisham Centre, The Epsom Playhouse, Bourne Hall, Ewell Court House, Longmead Social Centre, The Wells Social Centre, The Rainbow Centre and Rosebery Housing Association.
The results will be analysed by the leading on-line polling company YouGov and used to inform the budget setting process and the development of the new corporate plan 2012 to 2016, which concludes later this year.
