Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a house fire in West Norwood yesterday evening.
The fire damaged half of the first floor of the house in Harpenden Road, York Hill,.
A London Fire brigade spokesman said: “The brigade was called at 7.13pm and the fire was under control by 7.42pm.
“Fire crews from Brixton and West Norwood fire stations attended the incident.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
