Sports fans got the chance to lay their hands on the London 2012 Olympic Torch when a special roadshow came to town.
The Lloyds TSB London 2012 Olympic Torch Tour arrived in Battersea on Sunday, offering visitors the opportunity to have their photo taken with the famous torch, and learn about the history of the torch relay.
The next time residents will see it is on July 23 next year when it will be alight and will process through the borough on its way to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games four days later.
The torch will remain in the borough overnight and will be the centrepiece of a huge celebratory event which is being planned for Tooting Common.
