Fire in Norbury quickly extinguished
Fire crews extinguished a fire in Norbury without needing to evacuate the building.
The fire at a block of flats in Norbury Avenue was producing large amounts of smoke, prompting several residents to call the emergency services.
Fire crews from Norbury attended and employed their “refuge plan”, whereby residents stay in their homes while the fire is dealt with.
The Fire Investigation Team and police are investigating the cause of the blaze.
