A bride's wedding day was ruined when the limousine she booked failed to show up to take her to the church.
Kylie Hacker, 27, booked a limo to take her, her father, maid-of-honour and bridesmaids to St Andrews Church in Coulsdon, for her wedding.
Despite telephone and email confirmation from the limo company shortly before the big day, the car did not show, forcing Mrs Hacker to travel to her wedding in the maid-of-honour's less glamorous Mazda, and her father and the bridesmaids to be taken in 4X4.
She said: "When they didn't show I phoned their office but they didn't answer and their emergency number didn't work."
The group arrived at the church to find the waiting limousine and driver, who claimed he had travelled to Westleigh Avenue, Coulsdon, to pick her up but no-one had been home.
When Mrs Hacker's mother called the company to complain, AC Limos offered to send a limo to the airport to pick up the newly-weds on their return from their honeymoon, which they refused.
Mrs Hacker said: "They have been so blasé about the whole thing. They do not understand it was my wedding day, a day I will never have again.
"It was not how I imagined the day to be and they haven't even come close to acknowledging how badly it was ruined."
Andrew Crooks, director of AC Limos, said: "I am not trying to make excuses I know it went wrong, very badly wrong.
"I am really sorry, we have been running ten years and it has never happened before.
"All I can do is offer some form compensation to make up for it."
