A record number of parks have been officially recognised as among the best in the UK.
The Oaks, Cheam, and Grove Parks all retained their Green Flag status, while Manor Park in Sutton won the award for the first time.
It s the first time four parks in Sutton have been recognised by the awards.
The Green Flag scheme recognises the best parks and green spaces in the country and demonstrate a park is well-maintained and well-managed, with excellent facilities, and is highly valued by the local community.
Councillor Graham Tope, Sutton Council’s executive member for community safety, leisure and libraries said: "Our parks are a credit to the Friends groups and staff who put so much hard work and care into their local open spaces. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all for their effort and dedication.”
