The world's largest ploughman's lunch is set to be unveiled tomorrow in Battersea.
The colossal piece of edible food art will be made up of more than one tonne of Seriously Strong cheddar, 160 bloomers, 21 kilos of lettuce, 60 kilos of tomatoes, 1,500 spring onions, 6,500 pickled onions, 100 litres of pickle, and 175 kilos of butter.
It is expected to take food artists and specialist set builders more than 400 man hours to design and build the Guinness world record attempt, which has been arranged by the Seriously Strong cheese range.
The attempt will be unveiled at the Foodies Festival, in Battersea Park, at 12.30pm by TV chef and food writer Paul Merrett.
