A new campaign has been launched aimed at getting youngsters to explore the great outdoors this summer.
Sustrans, a charity which encourages people to travel by bike, foot or public transport, has unveiled a Free Range Kids campain in a bid to "ensure future generations of active, independent children".
It has released a list of walking and cycling routes suitable for family days out, including a 12 mile adventure along the Wandle Trail - which begins where it meets the River Thames in Wandsworth.
Another route higlighted runs from Hampton Court to Putney - taking in Richmond Park and the London Wetland Centre.
