A man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death is to stand trial next January.
Clifford Mills, 48, is accused of killing Lorna Smith, of Hewitt Close, Shirley, who was found dead in his flat in Brixton Hill on February 2.
The 45-year-old grandmother had been stabbed in the neck and suffocated with a plastic bag.
