Community spirit was there for all to see when an estate gathered for a reunion of former residents.
The Faylands Estate, in Aldrington Road, Tooting, welcomed families from across the country on Saturday, July 23, with people coming from North Wales, Norfolk and Brighton.
The estate was divided into several zones for the event. A music zone offered songs from the 1970s to the present day while the food zone tempted visitors with food from a variety of different cultures.
The children's zone included face painting, a bouncy castle and a magic show. There was also a tribute area which was dedicated to former residents.
Following the success of the reunion, long-serving residents are now in talks with Wandsworth Council to form a residents association.
