Owls and beer may not be the most obvious combination but an Epsom pub decided to put the two together to see what happened.
The Barley Mow pub on Pike's Hill held one of it's popular beer festival from Friday to Sunday but invited along some of the birds of prey on the Saturday for the added element of an owl show.
Gil Kenward, an owl keeper who has been looking after them for 50 years, brought a Barn owl, Snowy owl and Eagle owl along for drinkers to look at while enjoying a refreshing pint of real ale.
