A middle-aged woman has died following a collision with a van while she was cycling in Clapham.
The van driver has been arrested in connection with the incident on Sunday - and bailed to return on a date in August.
Police today issued an appeal for information about and witnesses to the collision in Cavendish Road, at the junction with Englewood Road.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 11.05am.
They found a female cyclist, aged in her 40s, suffering serious injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have confirmed they know the identity of the woman, but await formal identification. Her next of kin have been informed.
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit at Hampton are investigating.
