Children and families celebrated the re-opening of a Lambeth playground on Friday.
The revamped Charlie Chaplin Adventure Playground now has a meeting space, kitchen and new toilet facilities with better access for disabled children.
The redevelopment has been funded by Lambeth Council’s Aiming High for Disabled Children Programme, which hopes to improve the life chances and health outcomes of disabled children and young people across the borough.
Cabinet member for children and young people, Councillor Pete Robbins, said: “We want Lambeth to be a brilliant place for all children and young people to grow up. This project allows our aspirations to become a reality.”
