A former helicopter pilot is giving away free places on his exercise boot camps to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Fitness consultant Felix Deer, 45, who lives in Hook Road, Surbiton, served in Germany, Canada, Kenya and Belize until 1994.
Participants of the LemonBody fitness camp in Richmond Park on Sunday, July 31, were asked to donate money in exchange for a free two week trial on the 1,000 calorie challenge.
Mr Deer has also run camps in Alexandra Rec, Surbiton and Tiffin Boys School.
He said: “People just turn up at any of our training sessions and join in and if they can afford it, we ask for a small donation in the collecting bucket.”
Help for Heroes is a charity helping soldiers and others wounded in Britain’s conflicts.
