Six people were arrested after trouble broke out during one of the Epsom Downs Live events last month.
Patrolling Police went to the hill which overlooks Epsom Downs Racecourse during the evening of July 14's Scouting for Girls gig after reports of trouble.
Two people were arrested for affray and four for public order offences.
Superintendent Duncan Greenhalgh of Surrey Police said: “The Epsom Live evenings are usually enjoyed by a law-abiding audience of thousands.
“Sadly on Thursday, 14 July, a small minority of people seemed intent on disrupting the event by causing trouble.
“Officers seized large amounts of alcohol, mainly spirits in plastic water or soft drink bottles, from spectators who had gathered on the hill.
In the aftermath of the arrests police continued to patrol the hill for the last two gigs at the racecourse and no trouble was reported.
A spokesperson from Epsom Downs Racecourse said: "We will review it over the next few weeks to see what we will do next year.
"We are always trying to look at every possible side and see how we can make it better for people on the course and discourage people from going on the hill."
