Police are investigating a collision between a car and a lorry in Streatham Hill on Wednesday.
Lambeth police and the London Ambulance Service were called to the incident on Barcombe Avenue at the junction of Faygate Road, about 2.10pm.
Ambulance staff treated one person for shock but police said the lorry, which was carrying scaffolding, drove away from the scene and was later found abandoned in Hillside Road. A spokeswoman from the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.06pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a lorry in Barcombe Avenue, SW2.
“We sent one ambulance crew and a single responder in a car. Our staff checked over one patient at the scene who was in shock.”
A Lambeth police spokesman said: “Police enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
