Elmbridge Friends of the Earth got to the bottom of people's views on energy on Saturday.
They were in Hollyhedge Road, Cobham, and results from the questionnaires will be used to ensure the public’s views on energy are heard when the Energy Bill is debated in Parliament this autumn.
Elmbridge falls behind neighbouring boroughs such as Woking, Guildford and Sutton in promoting energy saving at home, according to the campaign group.
Campaigner David Porter said: “Energy costs and supply are becoming important in day to day living.
“Friends of the Earth's survey of people's views on energy supply and conservation will inform our campaign for a safe and affordable energy future."
