A home for the messages of defiance written on shopfront hoardings in the wake of the Battersea riots has yet to be found.
A spokeswoman for Debenhams said "a few" possible sites to house the wooden boards, which covered windows smashed during the looting and violence near Clapham Junction, had been touted - but no decisions made.
The spokeswoman, who did not reveal the suggestions, added: "We are still trying to track down somewhere that would be appropriate for them."
The manager of Debenhams Battersea, which was ransacked and vandalised on August 8, announced last month he wanted to preserve the message-covered boards because they had become " priceless pieces of social documentary".
So many messages of support were scrawled on the boards they quickly became a local landmark. Messages included "The rioters won’t stop our community" and "Clapham, we love you. Get well soon".
