Hundreds of people flocked to Tooting to celebrate the town's fourth annual Foodival.
The food festival, organised by Transition Town Tooting, offers dishes made with fruit and vegetables grown and donated by the local community and cooked by local restaurants.
Tooting Market was transformed with homemade bunting, banners and giant papier mache fruit and vegetables, while live music and entertainment added to the festive mood.
In addition to the food, music and arts and crafts stalls, this year’s Foodival, on September 17, also saw a trial run of a prototype Tooting currency, known as the Tooting "Root".
Transition Town Tooting will be investigating the possibilities of launching Tooting’s own currency over the coming months.
