Residents are being invited to commemorate the British servicemen and women who have died during major international conflicts.
Ceremonies will be held across Lambeth this Sunday, November 13, to remember those who have died serving their country at war.
At 8.50am, a procession will travel from Brixton Library to Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton to observe a two-minute silence. In the south of the borough, local people will gather at the Albert Carr War Memorial on Streatham Common north side at 10.30am, while in Gipsy Hill, mourners will meet at the Vincennes War Memorial in Hamilton Road at 3pm.
Mayor of Lambeth, Councillor Christiana Valcarcel, said: "Remembrance Day is a reminder of the sacrifice given by ordinary men and women for peace and our freedom.
"It will be a privilege for me to join with residents of the borough in honouring those whose heroism we must never forget."
