Young and old gathered to commemorate the war dead in services to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
At Streatham and Clapham High School in Abbotswood Road on Friday, pupils bowed as the last post was sounded and wreaths laid.
And on Sunday, as Remembrance Day was commemorated across the borough, Lambeth Mayor, Councillor Christiana Valcarcel, and the Reverend Canon George Ansah led the tributes to the fallen at the Vincennes War Memorial, Hamilton Road, Gipsy Hill.
