The biggest new town centre let for a generation will see up to 800 workers come to Kingston.
Oil giant ENI will move its UK base to King’s Place and Conquest House, in Wood Street, opposite the station, by the end of 2012.
The extra workers are expected to boost the town economy.
Conquest House is a base for 400 Surrey County Council staff, who will move to County Hall, Penrhyn Road, in January and February, before the current lease expires in March.
Travel company TUI occupies neighbouring King’s Place, with about 300 staff.
It is believed the deal is the biggest in Kingston since Stewart Wrightson, moved into the same premises in the mid-1980s.
