Children at a Cobham school recently took education to the stage with a musical about bats.
Grade two children at ACS Cobham International School performed songs about echo-location, hibernation and migration.
The performance was the culmination of an eight week unit on the creatures combining art, science, music, technology and social studies.
Science teacher Jennifer Davidson enjoyed the student’s performance.
She said: “It is really important for children to appreciate the many, and often surprising ways, that bats impact on our lives, such as creating bananas through pollination.”
Parents, teachers and other students from the lower school watched the show in the canteen.
A new nature trail at the school will give children the opportunity to get closer to local wildlife.
