Epsom and Ewell Council has compiled a planning and development guide to help protect Epsom’s natural habitats.

The guide, entitled Biodiversity and Planning in Epsom and Ewell, aims to protect Epsom’s biodiversity and natural habitats by offering advice to council officers, members, residents and the development industry. The guide will also assist in delivering the adopted Epsom and Ewell Local Biodiversity Action Plan.

A consultation on the guide has been launched and will be available for public consultation from Monday, November 14, until January 9, 2012.

Residents will be able to view the guide online and at the Town Hall and the Borough’s Libraries.
