Young jobseekers are spoilt for choice according to a training and apprentice provider.

Weir Training works with businesses and young people to place, asses and qualify them for a range of traineeships and jobs within a variety of business sectors.

The organisation, which employs three directors, 19 full-time staff and one consultant, aims to produce appropriately qualified and skilled workers to meet the needs of businesses.

The company, which works with the Skills Funding Agency, said it has lots of employers on their books actively looking for young apprentices.

The Surrey-based company said youngsters could land themselves a permanent job or at least gain a year’s experience, a national qualification, a salary and a reference.
