Vodka drinkers are at risk from an illegal brand of the spirit containing dangerous chemicals.
Drop Vodka contains industrial solvent ingredient propar-2-ol, methanol and chloroform.
It has been found for sale at rock-bottom prices across the country in off-licences, corner shops and petrol stations.
Surrey County Council Trading Standards have sent out a warning and asked businesses are asked to remove Drop Vodka from sale if they had it in stock.
Trading Standards officer Steve Playle said: “If you already have the drink at home, pour it away or throw it in the bin, but please don’t drink it.
“If you do you’ll be playing Russian roulette with your health.”
Symptoms of methanol poisoning include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and dizziness.
