A Walton garden centre is offering people free advice on buying and caring for real Christmas trees.
Country Gardens Seven Hills is offering the service to customers on December 10 and 11.
Spiced berry punch and roasted chestnuts will also be on offer for store gardening club members.
Centre manager Adam Wolczynski said: “Tips will include advice on how to improve air circulation, how to prevent the tree from overheating in the middle and how to avoid needle loss.”
The garden centre stocks a range of trees over the festive period and aims to help customers make them last until the New Year.
