Shirley take-away Abra-Kebabra has been crowned the best, and also worst, business name in London.
The Wickham Road business was given the dubious honour as part of the S**t London Awards, though creator Patrick Dalton is keen to point out the use of the word is not derogatory.
He said: “Not London is s**t, the word is more just stuff or things of London. I love this city and really believe it would be a poorer place without the things featured on this blog.”
The Shirley shop was picked for the Best/Worst Name category for 2011, with Mr Dalton writing: “Abra Kebabra - sublime bit of punmanship from this kebab house cleverly playing on the “now you see it, now you don’t” phenomena that happens in reverse on many a pavement across the city on a Friday night.”
Other winners include The Colliers Wood Tower, for Ugliest Building.
