Julian Speroni: 7 - A quiet afternoon for Palace’s ever reliable Argentine but dealt with the best that Millwall could muster.

Nathaniel Clyne: 6 - Normally so assured with the ball at his feet, this wasn’t a vintage Clyne performance. He looked a bit uncomfortable in possession and landed his centre-half’s in trouble on a number of occasions but always had the beating of his winger.

Patrick McCarthy: 8 - A towering presence at the back, the skipper was dominant in the air and won a penalty for his side.

Anthony Gardner: 7 - Got caught in a couple of times early on but recovered to have a fine game. Made a fantastic last-ditch challenge in the first-half to deny John Marquis who was through on goal.

Dean Moxey: 6 - Did some good work going forward and should have had an assist to his name when he whipped in a sensational cross to Glenn Murray. He had a hard time containing the pacy Liam Feeney but that was, at least in part, down to a lack of cover.

Wilfried Zaha: 7 - Took a while to get into the game but was unplayable for a period in the second-half and denied a blatant penalty after tricking his way into the box. He also displayed great discipline and strength in his tracking back rarely leaving Clyne exposed.

Mile Jedinak: 5 - Still adapting to life in the Championship, he broke up play well at times but was guilty of far too many misplaced passes that stifled the Eagles’ attacking momentum.

Owen Garvan: 9 - Despite being out for two months he slotted back into the team with ease. His eye for a pass and ability to put his foot on the ball have been sorely missed and his return will certainly add to the Eagles’ attacking arsenal.

Sean Scannell: 6 - Struggled to make an impact on the game from his wide left position. He was often caught in advanced positions leaving Dean Moxey exposed but in his own words, he’s a striker.

Chris Martin: 6 - He was running around at the speed of sound but was unable to fix Palace’s lack of goals. However, it was his first home start and he needs to be given time to settle. Showed flashed of what he can bring to the side.

Glenn Murray: 8 - Was guilty of a glaring miss in the opening minutes and missed a penalty but that shouldn’t detract from what was a yet another strong performance. He is the focal point of Palace’s attack and his substitution showed just how important he is to the team.

Subs: Jermaine Easter: 6 - Introduced after Murray’s penalty miss which effectively ended the game as a contest.

Darren Ambrose: 6 - Looks out of form but certainly not effort. He worked hard but it just isn’t falling for him at the moment.
