A film of a fire which destroyed a Victorian exhibition building is being screened for the final time.
Dramatic images of the blaze at Crystal Palace in 1936 will be displayed in a 15-minute show at the Crystal Palace Museum between 11am and 3pm this Saturday and Sunday.
400 firemen are estimated to have attended the fire, which left just two water towers standing.
Historians believe it was sparked by an explosion in the women’s cloakroom.
More than 100,000 watched the blaze from Sydenham Hill, including Winston Churchill, who is believed to have commented; "This is the end of an age".
