Passengers were left stranded when a train broke down on the Chessington line this morning.
South West Trains apologised for the disruption caused when the 8.16am from Waterloo to Chessington South broke down.
No trains were able to stop at Chessington South, Chessington North, Tolworth or Malden Manor stations after the break-down.
Trains were running again by 9.15am after the train was removed.
A South West Trains spokesman said: "A broken down train at Chessington South has caused disruption to passengers on the Chessington line this morning.
"We would like to apologise to our passengers for the disruption to their services this morning."
