A Santa’s grotto, story time sessions and Christmas games helped raise money for St Andrew’s School in Cobham.

The primary school held its Christmas fair on Saturday, November 27, and more than 300 people attended.

Entertainment included a shopping hall, fairground ride and stalls such as hoop the sweet jar and sink the snowball.

The event, sponsored by John D Wood and Co, raised more than £3,000 for the school to improve its outdoor spaces and play equipment.

Paolo Nacca, sales manager at John D Wood in Cobham, said: “St Andrew’s is Cobham’s only state run primary school from four years to 11 years and we are delighted to support such a local worthy cause.”
