Two surgeries have been awarded the Quality Practice Award by the Royal College of General Practitioners.
The Old Cottage Hospital Surgery in Epsom and the Fitznells Manor Surgery in Ewell, both part of the Integrated Care Partnership group are two of just 128 practices in England and Wales to have received the award.
Inspectors were ‘bowled over’ by the teams ‘obvious’ loyalty, communication and organisation during their two day assessment of both practices.
Nikki Clack, from the Old Cottage Hospital in Alexandra Road, said: “Needless to say we are all thrilled with the outcome which validates all that we do.
“Our patients joined us in the assessment and kindly volunteered to give us valuable feedback which will help us improve the service we offer.”
