St George's Hospital has announced its plans ahead of Wednesday's industrial action.
The hospital released a statement this afternoon stating that they will be "prioritising" emergency treatment presumably meaning those who are not a priority are likely to be rescheduled.
A spokesman for the hospital: “St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust is preparing for some disruption to services on Wednesday 30th November 2011.
"We will be prioritising patients who need emergency treatment and specialist care and will be working hard to keep as many other services open as possible.
“Patients concerned about a specific appointment or operation are advised to call the number shown at the top of their appointment letter for further advice. "We would urge the public not to call 999 or attend Accident and Emergency on Wednesday November 30 unless it is an emergency."
