An adult education centre received a visit from the mayor as part of a day to promote its activities.
The Myrrh Education & Training school in Brixton Hill, which offers a variety of classes including carpentry and joinery, opened its doors to prospective students on Friday (November 25).
Prinicpal Anita Faherty said: "Our aim was to make more businesses and organisations in the surrounding community aware of us and to make local people aware of what we do."
