Top comedian and ‘grumpy old man’ Arthur Smith officially opened a charity shop in Epsom earlier this month.
The Have I Got News For You regular stopped by St Raphael’s Hospice shop on the High Street in Epsom on Tuesday, November 15, before performing his one man show later that evening at the Epsom Playhouse.
While at the shop, the charity's tenth, Mr Smith met staff and volunteers and bought a sweater, a striped scarf and signed a copy of the book Grumpy Old Men.
The shop sells a wide range of clothes, bric a brac, books, children’s toys, vinyl and chinaware.
