About 20 firefighters are tackling a blaze after a fish and chip shop went up in smoke.
The fire is believed to have started on the ground floor of Golden Fry Fish Bar, Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath at about 4.20pm on Tuesday November 29.
Four fire appliances are at the scene and no-one is believed to have been injured.
The road is currently closed at the junction with Colliers Water Lane. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
