South End is shining for the festive season as it celebrated the switch on of its first ever Christmas Lights.
The Deputy Mayor of Croydon, Councillor David Fitze, officially switched on the lights last night rounding off an afternoon of entertainment featuring stilt walkers, a one-man band and human statues who entertained shoppers and visitors along the stretch of South End.
