A man has died after being hit by a train at Streatham Common station.
Southern Railway said train services were subject to cancellations and delays of up to 90 minutes, and trains would not call at Streatham Common until further notice.
Sutton, Epsom Downs and West Croydon stations are all affected. National Rail said the delays were expected to last until 5.30pm.
A witness at the scene said the man looked to be white and in his 30s.
Paramedics are still treating the driver of a train for injuries.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance service said: “We were called at 11.50am to Streatham Common station to reports of a person being hit by a train.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car, however sadly the man was found dead at the station.
“Staff are still at the station treating the train driver.”
