The Epsom and Ewell District Scout Shop has opened its new premises.
The new shop is based in Stoneleigh Broadway following the move from the 4th Ewell Scout Headquarters on London Road, Ewell.
Counsellor Sheila Carlson, the mayor of Epsom & Ewell, formally opened the shop on Saturday, 26 November. Shop manager Joyce Nicholas said: “I am really pleased with the increase in size at our new premises, as it will enable us to offer a wider range of items for sale and provide an even better service than before. I am sure that the Scouting and Guiding fraternity will find the shop of great benefit.”
Attendees at the opening said they felt the shop would be valuable and well used.
The shop will initially be open Monday afternoons, Wednesday afternoons and evenings, and Saturday mornings.
