Rotarians are celebrating after their Christmas appeal raised more than £6,000.
The New Malden Rotary Club organised for Father Christmas and his sleigh to tour the neighbourhood throughout December greeting families and handing out presents.
The group also collected outside Co-op and Waitrose and organised and coordinated the festive lights switch on in the high street.
New Malden Rotarian Michael Robson said the club would like to thank New Malden residents for their generosity.
He said: “The net sum raised was just over £6700 which is an excellent result particularly in these hard times.”
The proceeds will go to local causes including The Youth Speaks Competition and the Fircroft Trust, as well as international organisations such as Shelter Boxes, Mercy Ships and Excellent Development.
