A man in his 30's has been released on bail following a police raid which found drugs and a horde of weapons in a flat in Tooting.
Police officers found a quantity of what is believed to be cannabis and ecstasy tablets on a kitchen table and in a cupboard in the flat in Bedford Hill.
They also found a cross-bow, samurai swords, rifles and home-made weapons.
The man was arrested at the flat on suspicion of possessing class A and class B drugs, and is now on bail pending analysis of the drugs.
The warrant was carried out yesterday morning by officers from Nightingale and Bedford and Tooting Safer Neighbourhoods Team (TSNT). A dangerous dogs team also dealt with a dog in the upmarket flat, which sported a hot-tub in the back garden.
A dozen police officers were involved, who executed the raid after receiving a tip-off.
Inspector Ian Burton, of TSNT said: "It is an example of a local neighbourhood team working with the community after receiving intelligence and taking action quickly.
"We obtained a warrant to search the premises and as a result one male has been arrested for drugs offences."
